ThermoCond type 39

The ThermoCond® type 37 is equipped with a heat pump that has a COP of circa 7,8 throughout the whole year. This causes the energy use of the compressor to decrease in such large amounts, that the focus can be moved to air management. During a significant part of the year, it is not necessary to constantly maintain the nominal air volume, even when the public is present or when the space needs to be warmed up or dehumidified. Knowing that when the air volume is decreased with 50%, the utilized capacity is only 12,5%, a solution needed to be found for the performant heat pump, in such a way that a variable volume became possible. This solution was found by way of a digital compressor which allows to regulate the cooling capacity between 10 and 100%, and which also varies the energy use proportionally with the cooling capacity. The latest ThermoCond® type 39 combines all these components and the necessary regulation and steering software so the use of energy on yearly basis can be significantly decreased, of course without giving in on comfort and hygiene. The ThermoCond® type 39 is available from 2.500 to 27.000 m³/h and has energy-efficiency class A+, air speed class V2 and WTW-class H1.

AdCoolAir

Green-IT plays a big role in the world of both big and small date centers these days. Not even that long ago, cooling of a server park used almost as much energy as the server park itself. And because we are easily talking about hundreds of kW up to several MW, the energy use for cooling counts as a big factor in the exploitation budget.
Thanks to the re-design of a successful existing device (AdSolAir®), free-cooling -with or without the assistance of adiabatic cooling- can realize the drop in temperature during a big part of the year, without having fresh air blown into the data center, which would be disastrous in case of smoke- or fire alarm. Because free-cooling is applied immediately to the air, and not via a water circuit, the effect is much bigger. This way, the energy use for cooling takes less than 7% of the installed capacity.
The installation has specifically been adapted for use in data centers in the fields of performance, work range and physical connections. In order to meet other criteria such as availability and MTTR, we have chosen to work with several small components that can easily be replaced in case of an emergency. Furthermore, the adiabatic cooling and the integrated DX-cooling themselves already create a form of redundancy. The AdCoolAir® is available from 10 to 450 kW in one device. Naturally, several installations can be combined for bigger capacity or to guarantee the required redundancy.

AdConAir

Menerga introduced several new products during the ISH2011 exposition in Frankfurt. One of these products is the complete counterflow heat exchanger for large air volumes. In contrast with most offers on the market, the maximum air volume for our AdConAir is not limited to 7.000 m³/h. More than 30.000 m³/h can be offered in one device. As is always the case with Menerga, the heat exchanger is built in polypropylene, which guarantees a permanent high profit, as well as complete protection against corrosion. On top of that, compared to an aluminum heat exchanger, up to 5 times less CO2 is emitted during the production of polypropylene. This appliance can also be equipped with indirect adiabatic cooling, an integrated DX-cooling or both.

Product news

  • Sorpsolair

Sorption-supported indoor climate control . Refrigeration by indirect adiabatic evaporation and sorption-supported dehumidification.

The Sorpsolair for low energy buildings and passive buildings transforms the heath of simple solar collectors into a comfortable cool and dry climate, without the use of energy-consuming compressors. Thus making zero emission indoor climate control possible.

The concept even allows stocking solar energy during a long period of time without loss.
