DAB Water Technology - EVOPLUS: new circulator with A-label

With the new range of EVOPLUS circulating pumps with energy class A (following ErP2009/125/CE) DAB enters the HVAC market for small, middlerange and big use. With a high efficiency synchronic rotor and integrated frequency regulator . Ready for HVAC, solar and tapwateruse due to different pumpbody. Large range (S, M & L), easy to use and big energy savings. More comfort due to less noise and less changement of temperature. No bypass needed.

MCE/C inverters

The new MCE/C inverters are the latest technological challenge in the DAB
inverters universe. They constitute the new generation of inverters for use with
circulator pumps and stand out for ease of use, power, and simplicity of installation
and management.
MCE /C inverters are designed for use with circulator pumps to enable simple
control of differential pressure, thereby adapting pump performancee to match
effective system requirements.
The solution of mounting on the motor base greatly simplifies installation of
the pump with MCE/C in minimal times.

Press releases

  • EVOPLUS-last generation of A-label circulators-ready for 2015

DAB launches Evoplus, the last generation circulator for civil and industrial applications complying with the Erp requirements that will come into force in 2015.

DAB's response to the pressing challenges of the market is called Evoplus, an innovative range of electronic circulators for small, medium and large community systems featuring a class 'A' energy rating and already complying with the ErP Directive 2009/125/EC, which do not take effect until 2015.
They are suitable for hot water circulation in heating systems and cold water circulation in air conditioning systems, with maximum capacity up to 70 m3/h and a maximum head up to 18 mwc. The Evoplus range includes circulators with flanged ports up to DN 100 in single and twin version. As part of the evolution process of the Evotron family of domestic circulator they are equipped with a high efficiency synchronous motor, controlled by means of an on-board inverter; the combination of these elements together with the new hydraulics allow for a reduction in energy consumption of at least 70% as compared to a conventional circulator, at fixed speed. Besides the considerable energy saving, the advantages include a greater comfort thanks to the noise reduction due to the overpressure decrease during valve closure in a heating system, a greater ease of installation due to the elimination of the by-pass in the plant and a longer life cycle of the pump due to the reduction of the average operating speed. An easy to read and use display showing the operating status is supplied as standard with all the products of the range, thus ensuring maximum convenience while choosing between the different control modes. The products are designed to last longer and feature high quality and reliability, enabling significant energy saving and lower emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere, to the benefit of the environment.
