Pedestrian Barrier

Pedestrian Barriers are the most popular product in the pedestrian segregation range. The standard version comprises a reasonable heavy duty post and 3 rails with standard post centres of 1.5m and height of 1.1m. This fully module system can be made up to suit your needs and examples include special lengths, corners, T posts etc. Other versions of pedestrian barrier have included 1 rail, 4 rail and 8 rail versions.

Applications and Benefits

Hand Rail

A-Safe Hand Rail is a light weight system that is an ideal choice in areas of the work place where there is a risk of falling or where it is crucial to segregate people from dangerous equipment and guard against other potential risks. The standard version comprises a 90x90mm post and 2 rails with standard post centres of 1.5m and height of 1.1m. This fully module system can be made up to suit your needs and examples include special lengths, corners, T posts etc.

Traffic Barrier

Low Level Traffic Barrier
This is the most popular product in the Traffic segregation range and comprises of a single 200mm Rail with an impact height of 300mm. Standard Post centres are 1.6m and it has an overall height of 400mm. This fully module system can be made up to suit your needs and can be integrated with bollards and Pedestrian rail attachment.

High Level Traffic Barrier
High Level traffic has a single 200mm Rail with an impact height of 460mm. Standard Post centres are 1.6m and it has an overall height of 560mm. This fully module system can be made up to suit your needs and can be integrated with bollards and Pedestrian rail attachment.

Application and Benefits (Low Level/High Level)
Ideal for use around medium sized counter balance trucks with standard wheel arch so as the impact height matches the barrier. Low Level Traffic barrier is the perfect way to avoid unnecessary damage to your property. Atlas Barrier

Maximum safety is, of course, vital at every airport but this must be balanced with effective cost savings, especially in today’s economic climate.

The A-Safe range of Atlas Airport Barriers has been designed to provide both these benefits and much more besides. The secret of their success is the polymer-based material they are constructed from, which makes them far more flexible and durable than ordinairy steel barriers. If they are hit by tug trucks or other vehicles, their built-in memory ensures that they spring back into shape, instead of bending or buckling. Generally the Atlas Barrier products are used on both internal and external airside airport applications but can also be used on landside applications where required.

Bollards

Bollards are a low cost solution providing high impact absorption properties with little or no impact damage. They have an inbuilt impact absorption mechanism providing protection for what the bollard is installed to protect but also for the vehicle hitting it, reducing or removing the cost of damage repair bills. The bollards are 200mm in outside diameter and standard heights include 400mm, 750mm and 1200mm. Bespoke heights are possible to suit a particular application.

Applications and Benefits
Due to their strength and high visibility they are perfect for use in car parks, loading bays, at entrance and exit points and to signify designated road crossing points. Suitable for traffic segregation and they are ideal to integrate into other A-Safe barrier products especially at vulnerable points such as corners and at the ends of runs. They are used both internally and externally.
