All aspects of tooling design, manufacturing and composite production are undertaken within our modern facility located in Derby. We supply patterns, moulds, jigs, fixtures and pressed components to many high-profile OEM/Tier1&2 aerospace, luxury automotive, defence and bespoke industry customers. We offer predictability in a demanding advanced engineering market. We are ISO9001 and AS9100 Rev C certified and offer extensive machining capabilities (with five 5-axis machines), combined with autoclave and composite pressing facilities; we also have an on-site paint facility for any desired surface finish requirements.
We have a wealth of expertise regarding tooling design, specifically relating to composite structures. Our Design Manager has over thirty years composite design experience and is supported by a dedicated team of two further on-site designers. We would be pleased to discuss any future projects, please get in touch if you would like any further assistance or see our website for more detail.
At Pentaxia we offer a turnkey delivery capability, from tooling design and production through to finished composite parts. We have two high specification autoclaves (with computer controlled cooling), ensuring continual duplication of plant. Tooling and model boards (epoxy & PU), MDF, Aluminium, Carbon fibre (plate & trimming), Plastics (nylon), Foam Core (Rohacell)
All machines have tool changers fitted, with two machines also offering laser tool measurement.
At Pentaxia we can offer a complete turnkey delivery capability for our customers. From tooling design and production through to finished composite components. We're quite unique in the UK market whereby we can also offer full paint/lacquer capabilities in house, further minimising the requirement for third parties, helping reduce costs and lead times. We can produce lacquered visual carbon components to demanding luxury OEM quality standards. Please get in touch or see our website for more detailed information, we'd be pleased to discuss any forthcoming projects.
We offer extensive capabilities, utilising the latest in composite pressing technology. Whether for structural or visual composite components, please visit the respective page on our website for more information. We would be pleased to discuss any future requirements.
We're pleased to announce we've taken delivery of our third composite press. A high specification Langzauner Perfect (bed size 600mm x 800mm) - to ensure we can continue to offer continual capacity for our composite clients. As much as possible at Pentaxia we factor machinery duplication into our investment strategy. By duplicating equipment, should there be a reason for down-time, the risk of affecting delivery lead-times is minimized. We feel we've potentially one of the largest composite press capabilities in the UK and welcome new enquiries - there's lots of capacity! Please liaise with Tim Ollier (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more assistance or visit us on stand K110.
In the coming weeks, Pentaxia will take delivery of a second, high specification Langzauner Perfect composite press (bed size: 800mm x 600mm). This has been a major investment for Pentaxia and ensures machinery duplication for our original Langzauner purchased in June 2015. With this second laboratory press, we're doubling our composite pressing capacity and will be actively sourcing new clients. In total, we will have three presses on site, two Langzauner's and a smaller plate press - a significant composite manufacturing capability, based in our modern Derby facility. Whether for structural or more recently visual carbon components, please get in contact if you are planning a future composite project.
