Magnum Venus Products Europe Limited was established in 1988 to serve the needs of the growing composite market. Our factory is located in the Midlands which gives us easy access to all parts of the United Kingdom.

We provide equipment and materials for the composites industry in the UK and Ireland and many overseas manufacturing facilities. Our highly trained and experienced technical personnel support the equipment, processes and materials we supply.

Uniquely, we have experience in manufacturing which allows us to provide full technical assistance in all aspects of the production process through a hands on training approach.

We are continually striving to provide our customers with new technology with the support of our major suppliers.

Environmental issues are at the forefront of our new developments. These include the ‘Flexmoulding Process’ for manufacturing parts within a closed mould environment and reducing emissions to almost zero. Water Based release agents to remove solvents from the workplace. FIT low emission spray equipment reducing spray emissions to a minimum. We also distribute the Ciemme range of solvent reclaiming units for the regeneration of solvents helping to save on waste.

    The Hypaject ® is available in a range of configurations developed to meet the ever-increasing technical demands of our customers.

    Using the pressure pot principle pre-mixed resin systems are drawn into the maching under vacuum, actively degassed, then dispensed under pressure into the mould cavity. Processing requirements of single part epoxy materials such as Hexcel’s RTM6 and Cytec Engineered Materials have led to heater systems complete with higher levels of control and monitoring.

    The Hypaject ® range of Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) machines has been in production for over 15 years and has developed from a need to simplify the process handling of a wide variety of thermoset resins. The system offers a versatile package for small batch production, research & development and aerospace type activities.   • CATALYST ALARM

    The PRD Company Catalyst sensor is an adjustable flow detection device. The sensor is affected by rate and volume. The thumbnut on the side of the sensor housing allows the operator to adjust the sensor to detect the desired flow rate. In normal operation the Alarm will sound for 1-2 seconds at the start and or end of each operation to assure the operator the alarm is functioning.

    This system was designed for use with the hardest and most critical application which is the very accurate small shot size of mixed metered materials. The combination of the balanced Patriot Chop Check Fluid Sections, balanced Patriot Powerslide Powerhead and the 1:1 ProGun is the key to achieving excellent metering performance with medium viscosity materials.

    A single Powerhead drives the two fluid sections, eliminating the need for transfer pumps and gear pumps which greatly simplifies day-to-day use and maintenance.

    Also features pneumatic compensating cylinders in each of the two material platforms. If the fluid levels vary between the containers, the pneumatic cylinders self-adjust automatically during the pump priming of materials.
