H.T.E Engineering Services Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Thermoplastics welding and assembly equipment. Specialities include electrical panel building, induction heating rigs for polymer reforming applications and systems for checking electrical continuity and mechanical durability of switching components essential for modern operational reliability. Typical examples include automotive interior lamp assemblies and safety critical seatbelt switching devices.
Principle customers include Automotive, Electronic and Medical Device manufacturers. In 2012, the company was certified ISO 9001:2008 and regular management reviews guarantee the highest quality build standards.
PulseStaking and Ultrasonic welding technologies will be demonstrated on stand G14, with examples of complementary plastics joining technologies shown including Hot-Air-Cold-Stake, Fusion Welding and Laser Welding also featured.
H.T.E offer free guidance on correct joint design for the chosen polymer and advice on the most suitable assembly process. The aim is to bring their clients’ product to market on time and within budget. The diversity of applications includes Contact Lens production to vehicle Interior Door Panels.
Fusion Welding is a unique and patented Japanese process now available within Europe from H.T.E Resistance wires are laid between two halves of the plastic parts to be joined and then electrically heated. Localized pressure is applied and the parts melt in the area in contact with the wires. Applications include vehicle under-bonnet fluid expansion tanks, domestic heating controllers and battery cases where tamper evident seals, strong gas and watertight joints are required. Fine cosmetic surfaces are also maintained using Fusion Welding.
