The companies Draht-Linder, LINSTRAP and SeeveTEC have joined their forces and merged on first of January 2011 to LINDER GmbH. The three well-known and established brands remain in the market, but sharpen their profile and deepen their cooperation.

Thanks to resulting synergy effects, LINDER GmbH makes sure that also in the future the "best price" promise in combination with superior product quality can be maintained.

Due to the bundling of competences, LINDER GmbH also becomes a full-range system provider in the field of "strapping - binding - stitching".

Draht-Linder has its focus on wire and steel strapping, whereas LINSTRAP is specialist for plastic strapping - that is PET, PP and polyester textile strapping (hot melt, woven, and composite strap). SeeveTEC has specialized on packaging machinery with a clear focus on strapping and wrapping machines - carton sealers and conveyor technology round off its offering and enable the design of fully-automatic packaging lines.

Wrapping machine type Rotarion SPEED+ The Rotarion SPEED+ was developed for an out put of approx. 80 pallets per day and can wrap up to 35 pallets per hour. The SPEED+ does automatic film binding, melting and cutting and may be started by remote control. 8 programs are preset, further 360.000 program combinations are possible. The machine can handle pallets up to 2.000 kg and also difficult packages and those up to a height fo 2.500mm. The SeeveTEC Rotarion SPEED+ is available in 2 different basic versions which may be complemented by optional accessories. The differences relate to the 2 versions of the film dispenser: DPS (Dynamic Pre-Stretch System) 90/150/175/200 % film pre-stretch (i.e. 1m of film is stretched to 3,0 m), where two rolls driven at different speeds pre-stretch the film; the driven rolls allow for greater pre-stretching than f.ex. the VPT. Since the drive step is fixed, setting of the pre-stretch degree is done stepwise (modification sets included in the price). Use only with stretch-compatible film! (Recommended for heavy and very heavy duty goods and at the same very high goods.) The application tension may be adjusted very precisely from the control panel via an electromagnetic film brake. EPI (Electronic Pre-Stretch Intelligen System) 60-500 % film pre-stretch (i.e. 1m of film is stretched up to 6m), where two rolls driven at different speeds pre-stretch the film; the pre-stretch degree is done steplessly at the control panel. Use only with stretch-compatible film! (Recommended for heavy and very heavy duty goods and at the same very high goods.) Free-arm wrapping machine WrapMaster Sting The Wrap Master is the entry-model into the free arm wrapping machine family. It is suitable for stretchings of very heavy or instable pallets up to a slant of 3.000 mm. Eight programs may be saved individually and implemented via a graphic panel. Additional 360.000 combinations are possible. The work space is marked with light barriers which are included as well as a pre-stretch-system for prestretching the film. The Wrap Master Sting is identical in design with the Wrap Master but offers some additional features. It includes automatic film binding, melting and cutting. Mobile wrapping machine type Synobot Senso Wrapping robots are mobile wrapping machines which are appropiate for utilisation at different places or if the cargo is very wide and/or very long so that a standard-wrapping machine can not be used. The basic model is our Synobot, which is basically a luxery version of a film-handwinder. With the Synobot Senso the user gets an efficiency advance because it drives around the cargo without user and it recognises the pallets height via sensor and thus adjusts its wrapping programme automatically. Semi-automatic pallet strapping machine SeeveTEC PalettPlus Our semi-automatic pallet strapping machines can be differentiated in 3 regards: some can only be used with PP strapping, others for PP as well as for PET strapping. For the latter, the track can be moved automatically whereas it has to be folded down manually with the cheaper machine types. Linstrap PET strapping LINSTRAP PET strapping has substituted steel strapping in many industries. This is mainly due to possible economies when shifting from steel strapping to PET strapping: a PET strap with the same breaking strength saves approximately 50% per meter of strap compared to steel strap. Furthermore, there is no risk of packaging good or packaging staff being injured by sharp steel strapping edges. And there is no risk of corrosion, of course. Linstrap elastic stretch band for intra-company transportation The launch of our elastic stretch band some years ago can be considered as kind of revolution within the packaging industry: By putting an elastic stretch band among the upper layer of a pallet, a high system stability is the result. Due to its easy application - and (instead of adhesive tape, for example) without damging the packaging good - it is especially recommended for intra-company transportation. Elastic stretch band is also very useful when fixing edge protection corners. Linstrap polyester textile strapping: hot melt, woven, and composite strapping Besides PET strapping polyester textile strapping represents an attractive alternative to steel strapping: They also have high breaking strengths, but are a lot cheaper without bearing the risk of damaging the packaged good due to rust or sharp edges. If a lot of strapping cycles are done per day, PET strapping is preferable to polyester textile strapping as battery-powered strapping tools allow for higher efficiency in the strapping process. In contrast, those who do less frequent strapping cycles per day should take polyester textile strapping as there is no need to invest in a quite expensive battery-powered strapping tool. Under "polyester textile strapping" can be subsumed the following types of strap: hot melt polyester strapping, woven strapping and composite strapping (polyester yarns are PP coated). Unlike other types of strap, polyester textile strapping allow re-tensioning of the strap. Draht-Linder steel strapping For some applications, steel strapping is still indispensable, especially in case of hot, sharp or extremely heavy packaging goods. Steel strapping is available in several strap width and thickness combinations as well as in different quality grades having impact on tensile strengrth, elongation and rust protection. As quality grade, bright, standard and high tensile steel strapping can be differentiated - whereas standard quality steel strap is further differentiated along the rust protection grades: blue-annealed, black-painted and zinc-painted. Bright steel strapping is the cheapes one with lowest elongation, tensile strength and rust protection, followed by standard qiuality steel strap. Highest values in all dimensions has hight tensile steel strapping. blue-annealed and waxed: Rust protection is provided by a thin, blue oxide layer and additional hot wax, resulting in an optimum tensioning properties in strapping tools and machines. - black-painted or zinc-painted and waxed: Electrophoretic coating (galvanic coating) guarantees a uniform paint coat that is elastic and adheres well. Painted steel strapping is characterized by high rust protection - especially at the edges of the strap.
