Deep-Sea Breakbulk Terminal
Our terminal in the Port of Rotterdam handles high-quality steel and non-ferrous materials. It offers a gateway to the European hinterland by road, rail and waterway network.
Project & Heavy Lift Terminal
With our 750 tons overhead crane Broekman can handle project and out of gauge cargo, such as huge ships’ engines, turbines or generators.
Rotterdam Car Terminal
At this location we offer highly flexible services to car manufacturers. Vehicles on their way from factory to customer leave our premises fully processed and ready for the road.
European Distribution Centre
From our facility in the Ruhr and Frankfurt-Mannheim area, we provide over 40,000 m2 of warehousing and 80.000 m2 of outside storage, where we carry out EDC activities for vehicles, construction machines and general cargo.
Our EDC in the Port of Rotterdam (50,000 m2) is capable of handling both ADR-classified goods as well as non dangerous substances.

Broekman Group offers ocean freight services, such as full container loads (FCL), less container loads (LCL), consol and break-bulk services for any type or size of cargo to/from any port worldwide. Steel solution for maritime transport users
Broekman Group initiated a new business entity for the maritime industry and transport users in the steel and dry cargo sector. In this new activity Broekman Chartering & Brokering arranges the entire transportation from production factory till end users. This door to door service includes all modalities in the entire transport and logistics chain including chartering, port agencies, cargo handlings, custom formalities and onwards transportation to the final destination, providing the best route at the most economical conditions. High level logistics at Transport & Logistics 2012
The Broekman Group will attend the seventh edition of Transport & Logistics 2012 to present a wide range of specialized logistic services for high-quality steel, factory new cars, hazardous and non hazardous chemicals, heavy lifts and project cargo, machines and machine parts and general cargo. The show will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, 28 and 29 March 2012 in the thriving industrial heart of the Netherlands, Rotterdam.
Multi-modal international transportation
This show edition will focus on multi-modal international transportation. This theme is in line with the viewpoint of the Broekman Group, which multimodal terminals and warehouses in the Port of Rotterdam are strategically located and outfitted for efficient transport to the rest of the world. Besides warehousing and distribution the Broekman Group also provides integrated freight services, which include air and sea freight forwarding and several other related supporting services such as custom brokerage services.
Seasonal activity for ANWB
Although summer is almost over, Broekman is still receiving stalled motor vehicles at their European Distribution Centre (EDC) in the South of the Netherlands. So far the company has received more than 6,000 stalled motor vehicles. For this seasonal activity ANWB has appointed Broekman as their exclusive logistics hub of stalled motor vehicles and replacement cars.
With this service Broekman supports ANWB in helping Dutch tourists, who experienced a breakdown or accident, back on the road as quickly as possible. Last year the company received more than 7,000 stalled vehicles and was responsible for the preparation of 5,000 replacement cars.

European Distribution Center for vehicles
Broekman Group operates a European Distribution Center for vehicles, construction machines, machine parts, spare parts and general cargo. The warehouse is located near the German Rhine-Ruhr area. From this location we maintain over 50,000 m2 of warehouses and 80.000 m2 of outside storage at which we carry out European Distribution Center activities, including storage, value added logistics and transportation. Our activities cover whole Europe.
Chemical warehousing in Rotterdam
Broekman Group provides logistics services for chemicals, using a 40,000 square meters facility in the Port of Rotterdam. This facility is specially designed and equipped for handling of packed chemicals: hazardous and harmless. Concerning the warehousing of dangerous goods (ADR), Broekman meets the highest industrial standards. This means that the warehouses are CPR-15.2 and SEVESO II compliant. The range of services available include warehousing and distribution, integrated freight services and several other related supporting services such as custom brokerage services.
