• VAPOR GUARD® VT VAPOR GUARD® VT Storage Tank Gauge Pole Covers In 2012, Mesa released the latest development in emission reduction seal design for aboveground storage tanks. Mesa’s VAPOR GUARD® VT Gauge Pole Cover provides the most efficient means of controlling the amount of escaping hydrocarbon vapors from storage tank gauge poles. VAPOR-GUARD© VT features a proprietary closure and exclusive collapsible design. Tank owners benefit by reducing product emissions, meeting environmental regulations and reducing pollution into the environment. VAPOR-GUARD© VT is considered an approved “flexible enclosure system” by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as stated in the Storage Tank Emission Reduction Partnership Program (STERPP). This program recommends a “flexible enclosure device that completely encloses the slotted guidepole and a cover on top of the guidepole.” VAPOR-GUARD© VT significantly reduces product emissions, meets or exceeds environmental regulations, is suitable for Internal and External Floating Roof Tanks, may be installed while tank remains in-service and allows gauging and sampling equipment to operate, including radar gauges. It features excellent chemical resistance and UV protection.
