SpectraSensors

Spectral sensors, a commercial spin-off of JPL and NASA, perfected the TDL spectroscopy and applied it in petrochemical and environmental applications. Their frequent use in the bar code readers, CD players, fiber optic cables in the telecommunications diode lasers have the TDL spectroscopy made commercially viable. TDL sensors are more stable and reliable because they are not exposed to the gas and do not require constant calibration. They show no drift over time, have very little maintenance and are unaffected by any pollution.

Atago

For the determination of the refractive index (RI) of a process fluid Atago produces analysis equipment for many years. The current state of the art inline analyzers, the CM-780N, PRM-100α and MIPR-320 allows the user to continuously monitor the process. The combination of a sensitive detector, accurate algorithms and automatic temperature compensation achieves a drift-free measurement between 1,320 and 1,557 nD. Expressed in Brix that is between 0 and 100%.
Whether for an installation in a pipe, reactor vessel, mixing tank, boiler or evaporator, for each application, we can deliver the right process connection. If necessary we can equip the refractometer with a cleaning unit which cleans the prism. This can be done with water, steam or other cleaning agents. When these agents cannot be used, it is always possible to use the specially designed ultrasonic cleaning system.
The refractometer are used in the chemical, petrochemical, food, semiconductor, textile and sugar industries.

Thermo ε scan

The Escan is an inline process analyzer for analysis of liquids, slurries, pasta and solids transported by a (fall) pipe or pipeline. Because of the simple design, this analyzer is ideally suited for optimizing the production process. The ε scan instantaneous measures fat, protein, moisture, salt and other parameters in the product. Applications include. ground meat, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, snacks and pet food. In orange juice Brix, pH and acidity can be measured.

Aquamatic: Moisture and specific weight measurements

Whereas previous moisture meters would need several calibrations per grain type, the Aquamatic only needs one calibration for all grains and oilseeds. And whereas previous moisture meters would need frequent calibration updates, you should never have to update the calibration in the Aquamatic. These improvements have been made possible by two important advances - the use of 150 MHz technology and the UMA (Unified Moisture Algorithm).

Sofraser

The active part of the viscometer is a vibrating rod excited at its resonance frequency by a constant electrical power. The vibration amplitude varies according to the viscosity of the fluid in which the rod is immersed.

For the use of such analyzers is knowledge of the Raman spectroscopy is not necessary. After a brief training, they can be used for routine monitoring.
