Established in 2003, FKuR are producers of premium Bioplastics primarily made from natural resources. The company’s bioplastics can be converted into different forms using plastic processing methods such as extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, lamination and sheet extrusion.
The products that can be made from bioplastics include deep freeze packaging, cosmetic bags and fruit netting.
Raw bioplastics are often difficult to process and may not meet the specific requirements of the application. For these reasons FKuR take these materials, blend in additives and compound them in order to create bioplastics that run on standard
processing machinery and provide performance close to conventional plastics. This requires specialist knowledge and expertise. The resulting grades are
Bio-Flex® grades for flexible extruded products.
Biograde® for injection moulding applications and
Fibrolon®, a Wood Plastic Compound for injection moulding.
The demand for environmentally friendly products is continuously
increasing and FKuR’s bioplastic products are used in a wide range of sectors including packaging, hygiene, disposable catering, horticulture and agriculture.
