Getting there

Public transport

Getting from the Munich Airport to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre:

• Commuter train (S-Bahn) Line 1:
  Take the S1 headed toward Munich Central Station (“Hauptbahnhof”) from the central airport station to the stop “Feldmoching”; there, transfer to the metro line U2 toward “Messestadt Ost” and alight at the last stop. Journey time approx. 60 minutes.
• Commuter train (S-Bahn) Line 8:
  Take the S8 toward Munich Central Station (“Hauptbahnhof”) from the central airport station to “Ostbahnhof”; there, transfer to the metro line U5 toward “Neuperlach Süd”. Alight at “Innsbrucker Ring” and transfer again to the U2 toward “Messestadt Ost” and exit at “Messestadt Ost”. Journey time approx. 60 minutes.

Getting there from the central train station:

• Take the metro line U2 towards “Messestadt Ost”; alight at the final stop.

If travelling by car, just follow the signs (located on all major thoroughfares in the Munich area): “Neue Messe München/ICM”. 

If you’re using a GPS navigation system, enter as your destination “Am Messeturm 4, 81829 München”.
