For the Dutch market, particularly the materials for drain pipes and ventilation systems are well known. Examples include the Mega Vent for natural and mechanical ventilation and the heat recovery system HR 3000. In recent years Burgerhout invested heavily in the most modern, computer controlled injection molding machines with high precision for the production of synthetic parts for the supply of fresh combustion air and the evacuation of combustion gas for heating appliances.

The BM PP synthetic flexible flue liners from Burgerhout have several major advantages. Most striking feature is the extra inner layer that provides a smooth interior so that the flow resistance is extremely small. This prevents condensation remains. Acciai Inossidabili Expo srl is Europe's number 1 in the realization of stainless steel products. The annual production is about 2 million linear meters of stainless steel flue liners! The flue liners from Expo are suitable for atmospheric applications (negative pressure) as well for positive pressure applications throught the us of special sealing rings to make the chimney gas leakproof (according to EN 1856-1/1856-2).

The stainless steel flexible flue liners also meet these strict requirements and can therefore also be used for positive pressure. To ensure a leakproof connection between the flexible tube and the tee or heating appliance Expo provides its patented accessory piece "Flex-Kit", making chimney renovations possible againts the current regulatory standards.
