New METRISO G500 and METRISO G1000 Insulation Measuring Instruments
METRISO G 500 and METRISO G 1000 insulation measuring instruments have been designed for master tradesmen, technicians and engineers from industry and the commercial trades in the areas of R&D, final inspection, type testing, routine testing, quality control and periodic testing.
The instruments are compact and rugged, and are thus ideally suited for on-site use. They include features and functions which assure good legibility of test results at the backlit display, as well as excellent value for the money. They allow for convenient compensation of various measurement cable lengths during low-resistance measurement. Convenient two-hand operation is quick and practical - just suspend it from the neck strap and get straight to work.
METRISOs can be checked by the user at any time for correct functioning - in accordance with VDE 0105-100 (EN 50110-1) thanks to the integrated 10 MOhm test resistor. The insulation measuring instruments can be used for measurements in accordance with the standards (EN 61557), as well as non-standard measurements (e.g. 1 mA varistor test in lightning arresters) and, at the same time, they're available as voltmeters for up to 500 or 1000 V.
For even more operating convenience, an optional cable with remote triggering, a signal lamp and measuring point illumination are also available. The needs of those responsible for quality, auditing technicians and authorized inspectors have thus been met. A DKD calibration certificate is included as a standard feature.

PROFITEST PV - Peak Power Measuring Instrument and Characteristic Curve Tracer for Photovoltaic Systems
With auto-ranging up to 1000 V / 20 A / 20 kW
The PROFiTEST PV allows for the measurement of characteristic I-U curves, as well as individual photovoltaic modules and strings.
With the help of a patented process, the instrument is capable of ascertaining peak power, internal series resistance and internal parallel resistance directly on-site “with only one measurement and without entering module data”, which are then indicated at a high resolution color graphic touch-screen which is suitable for use in sunlight.
Troubleshooting in PV systems, as well as documentation of system quality, are executed quickly and economically during initial start-up and subsequent testing without a long learning curve.
This simple yet decisive test assures safety for the customer and eliminates consequential costs for the installer.
Measured peak power can, for example, also be used in order to determine peak ratio. Beyond this, acquired characteristic curves make it possible to draw further conclusions regarding the electrical characteristics of the measured module or string.
