By Air

The Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport in Barranquilla has two terminals, one for domestic flights and another for international flights. It is is one of the largest airports  in Colombia, offering visitors easy access from nearly anywhere in the world.

By Land

Barranquilla is easily reached by roads connecting to Bogotá, Cartagena, the Caribbean Trunk Highway connecting to Santa Marta, Riohacha, Maicao, and then reaching the road network in Venezuela; and the West Trunk Highway connecting Cartagena to Sincelejo, Monteria and Medellín.

Within Barranquilla there are several forms of public transportation available, such as taxis and buses with easy access, providing excellent mobility throughout the city.

By Sea

Barranquilla has a major sea and river port, the third largest by cargo volume in the country. Although this is not a usual means of transportation for visitors, cruise ships have arrived in recent years to this port, offering their passengers another opportunity for transportation.
