Been using Genesis for linear static analysis and its optimisation tools for wide range of project from automotive powertrain research to composite chassis for motorsport.

 

Now taking care of software trainings for Genesis and add-on optimisation tools in Ansys Mechanical and work actively to support our customers on their own projects.

Laurent Espitalier

 

 

Laurent Espitalier, Technical Manager, Wallwork Cambridge

Laurent holds a MSc in Materials science and a MSc in surface engineering, both obtained with merit and was awarded the title of Ingenieur Maitre in Material Science. He recently completed a MBA with distinction and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Laurent is the senior manager in charge of R&D, material testing laboratory and coating processes at Wallwork in Cambridge. With nearly15 years of experience in process development in PVD and PECVD, he has been involved in numerous industrial projects involving SMEs, Multi-nationals and Universities worldwide.

Laurent is responsible for the strategic development and management of Wallwork’s research activities. His excellence is this role has enabled successful product and process development through building and leading a talented team, having innovative ideas and excellent project management skills. Lawrence Cook

Lawrence researches joining techniques for composite and multi-material structures, and is knowledge base supervisor for the Innovate UK funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with bigHead. He worked previously at Scott Bader, as R&D Applications Engineer, and has diverse industrial experience, some in Germany. He holds a PhD from Cranfield, sponsored by the UK CAA, on Visual Inspection Reliability for Composite Aircraft Structures, and completed his MDes in Industrial Product Design at Coventry University.
