After his international studies in marketing between France, the U.S., Japan, China and a design training at the Milan Domus Academy, Christophe Pradere founded global design agency BETC Design as an affiliated company of BETC Euro RSCG of Havas Worldwide. With its headquarters in Paris, France, BETC Design has also set up a branch office in Shanghai, China. Over the years, he has founded a new global strategic and creative method, expressed in the concept of brand rituals. With this methodology, the brand experiences can be developed through the creation of products, services and places. In addition, he is often invited to address speeches in higher level educational institutions such as the Parsons School and ESSEC, as well as many international design forums. Meanwhile he’s teaching “brand developement through marketing and anthropology” in Slama Business School.

As the General Manager for Chinese and South Asian offices of the independent brand intelligence and design firm centdegrés, Matthieu Rochette-Schneider manages and develops centdegrés’ seven Asian subsidiaries (four in in Mainland China, the other in Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Indonesia) since 2013. Vice-President and Professor, School of Design of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts

Prof. Gu also acts as the leading Master of Gu Chuanxi Original (Masters) Design Studio, Vice-Chairman of Shanghai Packaging Technology Association and Director of its Packaging Design Department, Standing Committee Member of China Packaging Federation. Works of his students has obtained 315 design awards. He and his students’ works has applied for over 100 design appearance patents and utility model patents. He has been invited to curate exhibitions of his students’ excellent works in Germany, Austria, France and China, including the “Design Works of Gu Chuangxi and His Students Exhibition 2015” held in Germany at the invitation of Klingspor Museum, and “Design Works of Gu Chuangxi and His Students Exhibition 2016” held in Austria at the invitation of Vienna Design Innovation Center, and an exhibition of excellent packaging design works of his students held at the Salon Honnoratin of the International University City of Paris, France in 2016.

Chief designer of Shanghai Jahwa Corporation;Director of Creative Design at National Industrial Design Center

As a distinguished professional in domestic design industry for cosmetic brands, he has led the product design and development for many famous cosmetic brands in China, including Herborist, Liushen, Maxam, GF, Vive, Giving, etc. Amongst these brands, the Herborist – integrating healthy beauty culture of traditional Chinese herbal medicine with modern fashion aesthetic concept – has become the first Chinese brand to go international. His works have obtained numerous domestic and international design awards.
