The winners exhibit, that will feature at ADF&PCD Paris, will display a selection of the beauty and cosmetics orientated winning designs from the 2017 competition.

Effortlessly beautiful, vividly being a minimalist. Derek Lam 10 Crosby fragrance line was born when Mr. Lam looked out from within the NYC address to discover a world of inspiration walking by his window. Inspired by Mr. Lam's modern style of the cleanest silhouettes, this fragrance line reveals a bold concept of the unique 10 colour collections which represent 10 styles, 10 lives and 10 stories in NYC. The whites (cap & sleeve) is certainly there though in a modest, as if the invisible forms to reveal the 10 shades.

Brief: Complexion products in make-up are typically the most functional and serious. The design agency was asked to design a fun and slightly subversive package to reflect the innovative multicolour formula of the product and the cheekier side of the Marc Jacobs brand.
The solution: A cheeky blend of high and low was achieved by using a deodorant style mechanism as the base for the design. The overall appearance is appropriately slick and refined while infusing an urban and unexpected twist. The design brings a much-needed sense of humour and wit to an otherwise boring and serious category and reflects the fun blended colours in the formula. Every aspect of the package was meticulously designed from the overall shape right down to the exact number and shape of the ridges in the twisting mechanism.

Cosmetea is a skin care brand in the East which values 'Tea' as the core element. The inspiration is based on the tea culture over thousands of years. The creative inspiration was taken from tea sets, which have more than thousands of years history in the East as well as from the Gongdao mug, which traditionally serves tea. The upper half of bottle is made as similar to the mouth of Gongdao mug.

OIB-Nianxiang - Manuka Bee-honey lipstick

'Manuka Bee' is an organic brand with leading products of young lip care. The natural Manukahoney from New Zealand is put into products, to make lip balm edible. We spread creativity from honey, and in the end, we get inspiration from beekeepers when they take the honey sticks out to break normal procedure of making lip balm. Meanwhile, candy colors and textures are used on products, which increases visual signal of 'edible characteristic'. The big design idea is making lip balms 'tasty' and 'appetitive'.

The conceptual initial idea of the designer was to create a collection of 3 independent perfumes (one feminine, one masculine and one neutral) connected inside the collection. The packaging and the bottles of the 3 perfumes should have connection between them for that reason when you put the 3 products together (bottles and packaging) you create a unique sculpture.
