Siegbert Hieber became Managing Director of easyFairs Germany and Austria in January 2010.

He has a strong track record in the trade show industry, having worked on the creation and development of many successful events.

He was previously a department head at Gesellschaft für Handwerkmessen Munich, where he was responsible for launching and organising a number of tradeshows focused on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Earlier in his career, Hieber held sales and marketing roles at Interconnect Marketing in Munich and the Munich Trade Fair and before that he spent several years in the hotel industry in Germany and the United States.

Hieber holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences, Künzelsau, Germany.
