Here is what exhbitors to the 2008 edition had to say about easyFairs® MAINTEC

PCB Piezotronics Ltd was a second-time exhibitor at easyFairs MAINTEC and Managing Director Graham Turgoose expressed himself as delighted with the results. “We came to MAINTEC to showcase our sensors and instrumentation for industrial process monitoring, as a fully operating direct sales office serving the UK market.  We hoped to educate prospective customers about the benefits of our extremely reliable, cost effective, and more technically advanced shear mode sensing technologies, and also to promote the other things that make us so unique – our no-risk Total Customer Satisfaction policy, ability to make deliveries on certain models in as few as four business days, and favourable pricing – with some sensor models available for under £100!  We’ve achieved these goals and much more! There were lots of visitors from big name companies on our target list present here. easyFairs MAINTEC is the best show at which we have exhibited in the United Kingdom – without a doubt,” he said.

AV Technology offers specialist asset management support and guidance through consultancy services and a range of products. Managing Director Stephen Mottershead came well prepared for the event. “This was our second year at easyFairs MAINTEC and this time we have done exceptionally well. Not only have we received lots of enquiries, we’ve also made sales here, so the show has already paid for itself.

“I’d offer three pieces of advice to anyone who wants to succeed as well as we have. First, focus your presentation on your core strengths and tailor it to the people who are actually going to use your technology and services. But second, aim your visitor promotion at senior-level decision makers. They will then ask their engineers and maintenance people to visit your stand and check you out. Third, be proactive. Get out into the aisles and meet and greet. It’s what people expect. I was actually surprised at the number of high-level decision makers who attended, so the show’s promotion was spot-on,” said Mottershead. He added that a trade show is an effective platform for a company like AVT: “We are not tied to any supplier so we welcome the opportunity to meet people and talk about customising the best solutions to meet their needs.”

West Anglia Training Association offers a wide range of nationally accredited training courses in subjects such as health & safety, environmental, electrical and mechanical skills, and leadership and management. It offers an apprenticeship scheme to national standards. “Our customers expect to see us at easyFairs MAINTEC and it’s a good place to meet new people,” said Youth Training and Skills Manager Richard D. Barnes. “These not only include maintenance specialists but also from other disciplines such as food hygiene. I think the new stand package introduced by easyFairs is a great innovation, as it reduces the time overhead for exhibitors. The show has gone well.”

“This was our first time at easyFairs MAINTEC and we found the response to our products really good, far better than we could have imagined. We have already booked for next year!” said Dennis Ballard of Cobas.
