Located in the heart of Europe, Brussels is easy to reach by car, train or plane. Brussels airport (Zaventem) is just a few minutes drive from the city.
Brussels Expo is one of the city's most prominent landmarks and therefore easily accessible whatever your choice of transport.
Train
Brussels is easily accessed by train: Eurostar (from London) and Thalys (from Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne) stop at the Gare du Midi. From there, take the Metro to Heysel.

Public transport
Brussels’ extensive public transport network means that Brussels Expo can be easily reached by STIB/MIVB (tram, bus and metro services) and De Lijn (bus services). Heysel is on Metro Line 1A (the yellow line) direction Roi Baudouin.

Air
Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) is just a short journey from the city centre or the Brussels Expo. You can reach the city centre either by taxi or train. The Airport City Express runs four times per hour between 0600 and midnight and stops at all three Brussels city centre stations. From there you can continue your journey by tram, bus, taxi or metro.
