International Financial Controller
Location: Brussels
easyFairs, the world’s leading organiser of time & cost-effective trade shows, is looking for an International Financial Controller to support its ongoing expansion.
The successful candidate will be based at our headquarters in Brussels and will report to our Group Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities will include:
• Financial controlling in 3-4 key subsidiaries
• Decision-making support and assistance for national Managing Directors
• Preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts to ensure that data is prepared and objectively evaluated
• Production of the monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, with strict adherence to deadlines and Group reporting standards
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the reporting environments to shorten periods and improve quality
This is a full time job and will require frequent travel to France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain. The working language is English.
Profile & skills
To succeed in this role you will require:
• A relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification such as business administration or company finance
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar role, also in an international environment
• Excellent knowledge of, and experience in, information systems/ERP
• Excellent personal IT skills, especially in Excel
• Fluency in English (French, German and Spanish a plus)
• Disciplined, well-organised and autonomous
• Strong analytical skills
• Adaptable and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
