Gunnar Küchler
 Gunnar Küchler joined the easyFairs Group in October 2004 as an independent consultant in charge of new business development and sales training, and was appointed Managing Director of easyFairs Germany in April 2005.
From 2000 until October 2004 he was General Manager, Central Europe for Avanstar Communications of Boston.
In 1995 Küchler set up K+S Show Management Company of Munich, IDG’s preferred show management company, which successfully continued the MacWorld/ComNet series and launched new events including LinuxWorld, ICE and ChannelWorld.
Küchler had previously managed IDG World Expo’s European event portfolio as Vice President, Europe, from 1993 to 1995.
Between 1990 and 1993, as Sales and Marketing Director of the Blenheim Group of Düsseldorf, Küchler developed the German portfolio of what is today Reed Germany, through the successful merger of five independent show organisations, the launch of the Networking show and a thirty percent increase in group exhibitor sales.
He held several senior positions in show management, sales and marketing in Massachusetts and New York before returning to Germany in 1990.
Küchler holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Free University of Berlin and an MBA from New School, New York.
