Eric Préat
Eric Préat advises the easyFairs Group on Product Development in his capacity as Managing Director of EPM SCS. A founding member of the team, he was for five years Business Development Manager of Artexis.
Préat has been active in the exhibitions business since the early eighties, when as a secretary general of the Belgian UDIAS trade association he was responsible for the Instrurama scientific instruments and industrial process control trade show in Brussels.
In 1990 he joined Reed Exhibitions, part of Reed Elsevier, and took part in the expansion of the Belgian Branch as a Business Development Manager.
Préat also worked on several European and worldwide projects for the company, mainly in the pharmaceutical and foodservice markets.
In 1995 he started his own company before joining Artexis, created around most of the former Reed Exhibitions Belgium team.
Préat is a board member of the Belgian / Luxemburg exhibition organisers’ trade association.
